Curriculum Vitae

I had professional positions as Head of Legal Affairs and Chief Compliance Officer of medium-sized companies (Zimmer AG and KHS AG) and as General Counsel of an M-DAX Group (Tognum AG, later Rolls-Royce Powersystems AG).

  • Since 1998 lawyer specializing in business law
  • In my studies to acchieve the Master of Laws (LL.M.) I focused on international arbitration, international sales law, competition and antitrust law and documentary credits.
  • Since 1998, in-house management consulting, coaching and training in organizational development, leadership and team development, negotiation management and conflict management.
  • 1998 BTA GmbH & Co. KG, Munich, In-house lawyer
  • 1998 to 2007 Zimmer AG, Frankfurt a. M. Head of Legal and Patents, CO and authorized signatory.
    •  I left the company in 2008 as Head of legal affairs and intellectual property rights, compliance officer and authorized signatory.
    • Since 2002 in addition to classical business law focusing on industrial property rights and compliance
    • The focus on industrial property rights as the distinguishing feature of a technology leader followed the strategic realignment of the company. At the same time, a compliance management system had to be developed.
  • 2007 to 2008 KHS AG, Dortmund, Head of Legal and Patents, CCO and Authorized Officer
    • After a year, the family reunion took place in the south of Germany.
  • 2008 to 2015 Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG (formerly Tognum AG / MDax), Friedrichshafen
    • Vice President, General Counsel (Legal, IP, Foreign Economic Control), Procurator
      I joined Tognum AG as a General Counsel at the MDax. Among other things, I established the Global Legal Affairs Office, which dealt with all legal questions of the listed company. As a member of the Compliance Council, I advised the management in the development of the Company’s Compliance Management System. Industrial property rights and foreign trade law were part of my responsibilities. I left the company following its takeover.
  • Since 2016 lawyer, mediator, arbitrator and developer of organizations
    • As lawyer, mediator, arbitrator and developer of organizations, I have become self-employed. I offer my professional service DACH-wide. I also feel “at home” in an English-speaking environment.
